The free edition of LastPass has plenty of advanced features, more than some of its for-pay competitors, and it syncs across all your Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. The product is still at version 4, but its designers have given the interface a facelift and slipped in some new features.

It relies entirely on biometrics, specifically face recognition. With everyone constantly taking selfies, you won’t look out of place when you authenticate by centering your face in 1U’s field. 

Avira Password Manager

The open-source free password manager KeePass 2.34 is not for everybody, but its extremely configurable nature and wealth of plug-ins make it a tinkerer’s dream. And unlike most free password managers, it’s free at every level, from consumer up to an enterprise.

You can sync your Identity Safe passwords across any number of Windows, iOS, or Android devices, and can also log in to your stored data from any secure browser. While the product hasn’t changed much in years, it does boast a few new features added recently.
