A device that can get under your skin 

Skin-embedded speakers are now in reality

Scientist have developed a transparent, ultra-thin device that can turn your skin into a loudspeaker, paving the way for a new generation of wearable sensors and devices.

Recerchers from Uslan National Insitute of Science and Technology (UNSIT), in South Korea developed ultra-thin, transparent, and conductive hybrid nano-membranes with nano-scale thickness , consisting of an orthogonal silver nano-wire array embedded in a polymer matrix.

The researchers also introduced a similar device, acting as a microphone, which can be connected to smartphones and computers to unlock voice activated security systems.
